June 20th - Reggae Festival at Avila Beach Resort [Music Photography]

My lovely friend and the Producer of the fashion show, Johnny Kenny, arranged for me to get a press pass for this show...love him! What better way to spend my birthday weekend than with Dirty Heads with Rome from Sublime, Still Time, Top Shelf, Alborosie, and Fat Freddy's Drop? This was my first time seeing all of these bands and they were epic!

Central Coast Fashion Week: On Location at See Canyon [Fashion Photography]

With the Haute Couture Fashion series a wrap, Johnny Kenny, Robin Chilton and I decided to do a location shoot for the Peregrine Media documentary and to get more portfolio work for the models. Johnny hooked us up with his families property, the See Canyon Fruit Ranch. It is such a beautiful property with tons of interesting areas to shoot. We had 7 models and 3 designers (Francisco Castro, Kristina Michelle and Kate White, Scissor Clothing.) I was excited to get to shoot Kristina Michelle's clothes because I missed her fashion show. This was a very long shoot (sun up to sun down) and I ended up power napping on the floor of a barn during the break.

Hardcastle Family Portraits [San Luis Obispo Photography]

The Hardcastle Family came to Pismo Beach for a summer vacation and contacted me to have a Family Portrait session during their visit. We met at Wilmar Street and walked down the wooden stairs to the south side of Pismo Beach. They had a baby and two smaller girls so it took a little work to get smiles out of everyone. I photographed the extended family together as well as each individual family's portrait.

Kids Photography at the SLO Children's Museum [San Francisco, Monterey, San Luis Obispo Photography]

The kids' photography project is right around the corner, but I still need your help to get more participants! Please forward this message to family and friends with children ages 5-12, who would be interested in participating in this exciting project. Each child will have a portrait taken. They will then be given a 30 minute session with a digital camera to explore the area in and around the museum. Afterward, the images will be displayed on my website where parents can order photos from the day. There is no additional fee for the program (regular admission is $8 for children and adults.)
