Irene and David live in Santa Maria but they chose the Wedgewood Banquet Center in Ventura as their wedding venue. I was happy to get back down to Southern California for at least one wedding this year. Brian Owens Media joined us to shoot the video for this couple.

Rincon [Ventura Travel Photography]

I went down to Rincon on a surf trip with my friend. I wasn't feeling much like surfing and I'm not a big fan of the rocky beach at Rincon. So instead I got out my camera and took some photos instead.

Jaimie & Jeff [Ventura Wedding Photography]

Jaimie is the daughter of my good friend Monica. When she asked me to shoot her beach inspired wedding in Ventura I was very excited to get back into wedding photography. This was my first wedding shoot completely with a digital camera. It was also the last wedding I will ever shoot without a 2nd photographer. My day started at 5:30 am and ended at 6:00 pm.

Jaimie & Jeff [Ventura Engagement Photography]

Jaimie and Jeff were married in 2006. Before I shot the wedding I met them in Simi Valley to photograph their engagement portraits. It was great to get a chance to work with them before the wedding. We went to a local hiking canyon that they like to visit.
